Founded in 2014, I-Dent Dental does not aim to be the biggest, but to be the most trusted, specialized, and human-centered dental clinic.

Our mission goes far beyond simply “fixing teeth.” We strive to be a trusted companion, helping thousands of Vietnamese people at home and abroad fully restore their chewing function, radiant confidence, and overall health.

THE I-DENT DENTAL STORY

I-DENT Dental was founded in 2014 with the mission of bringing international medical standards to serve Vietnamese people, so that every smile is not only beautiful, but also safe and sustainable.

Leading I-DENT is Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung, MD, PhD (Aix-Marseille University, France). Instead of choosing to remain in Europe with high income and a modern working environment, Dr. Tung decided to return to Vietnam to build a dental clinic rooted in professionalism, dedication, and deep responsibility toward his people.

After graduating as a Doctor of Odonto-Stomatology from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 2007, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung earned a prestigious doctoral research scholarship in France. Through talent, perseverance, and passion, he completed his Master’s degree in 2009 and successfully defended his Medical Doctorate at Aix-Marseille University in 2012, becoming one of the youngest Medical PhDs in Vietnam, under the age of 30.

When asked, “Why didn’t you stay in Europe, where income is higher, technology is more advanced, and living conditions are better?”, Dr. Tung simply smiled. Because he knew that what he truly desired was to bring back knowledge and a rigorous medical mindset to his homeland, so that Vietnamese people could access international-standard dental care at Vietnamese costs.

I-Dent was founded to improve the oral health of Vietnamese people through International Standards, Integrity, Advanced Expertise, and Dedication.
We strive to provide world-class dental care at reasonable costs, so patients can access high-quality treatment without leaving their home country.

From the very beginning, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung established a core principle:
“If a treatment is not good enough for our own family, it is not recommended for our patients.” This principle guides more than 100 team members across the I-Dent system.

For us, dentistry is not just about fixing teeth. It is about restoring confidence, aesthetics, health, and emotional well-being for thousands of patients — from children to seniors, from local residents to overseas Vietnamese. Every clinic under the I-DENT Dental System—including the Go Vap Branch, Binh Thanh Branch, and District 5 Branch—is fully licensed by the Department of Health. To ensure strict regulatory compliance, patients will receive services only within the scope of practice authorized by the Department of Health. Any treatment categories outside of this authorized scope will be referred to a hospital for performance.
