Founded in 2014 by Nguyen Hieu Tung, PhD (following more than a decade of research and professional training in France), I-Dent Dental is an international-standard specialty dental system. Built on the philosophy of trust, clinical excellence, and specialized care rather than commercial scale, I-Dent Dental has become a leading referral center for complex dental treatments, with over 12 years of clinical experience in dental implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry.

Our multidisciplinary team includes more than 15 PhDs, Master’s degree holders, and dentists, each with over 10 years of advanced training in France, Italy, and the United States. To date, I-Dent has successfully completed more than 30,000 treatments, including 20,000 dental implant cases, 8,000 orthodontic cases, and 2,000 cosmetic dentistry cases, serving both local patients and overseas Vietnamese from around the world.

Founded in 2014, I-Dent Dental was established with a mission to bring internationally recognized clinical standards to dental care in Vietnam. Guided by a vision of building a highly specialized dental institution, I-Dent Dental focuses on restorative and cosmetic dentistry through three core principles: long-term clinical success, patient safety, and cost-effective treatment tailored to the needs of Vietnamese patients.

I-Dent Dental is led by Nguyen Hieu Tung, PhD in Medical Sciences from Aix-Marseille University (France). After more than a decade of advanced education, research, and clinical training in Europe, Dr. Tung chose to return to Vietnam instead of pursuing a career abroad, with the goal of building a dental practice founded on clinical excellence, integrity, and patient-centered care.

Dr. Tung graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 2007, earned his Master’s degree in 2009, and completed his PhD in Medical Sciences at Aix-Marseille University, France, in 2012. His extensive training in Europe provided early exposure to advanced implant dentistry and modern restorative dental techniques, shaping the clinical foundation of I-Dent Dental today.

Driven by the belief that Vietnamese patients deserve access to international-quality dentistry at local costs, Dr. Tung returned home to turn this vision into reality. This philosophy continues to guide every aspect of I-Dent, where treatment recommendations are based on evidence-based dentistry, professional ethics, and genuine compassion for every patient.

Over the past decade, I-Dent Dental has transformed French clinical expertise into a comprehensive dental care system in Ho Chi Minh City.
